EvilQuest 1.2 Update Released for Xbox Live Indie Games

Since its initial release, EvilQuest has received extremely valuable feedback from fans and reviewers alike. We have seriously considered all suggestions and criticism and in response would like to announce the release of the Version 1.2 Update for EvilQuest on Xbox Live Indie Games (80 MSP/$1 U.S.).

This update addresses many of the issues present in the initial release without compromising the original vision of the game. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has supported EvilQuest and are extremely pleased with the response that the game has received. We also want to assure you that we will continue to make games in the vein of EvilQuest for the foreseeable future.

Release Notes for Version 1.2 Update:

- Dialogue improvements
- Changed attack and health on certain enemies for a more “balanced” difficulty progression
- Added easy, medium, & hard difficulty modes
- Settings for Volume/SFX levels
- Setting to disable effects that could cause seizures
- Additional save points
- Replaced existing prison music
- Spell costs and recovery time tweaked
- Entire intro is now skippable once started
- Fixed issue with using attack button immediately following spell casting
- Added time delay to enemy respawning
- Tweaked enemy HP & damage in later game stages
- Weaker fire spell for enemies
- Reduced heal spell MP cost
- Doubled poison damage
- Fixed bug that let you abandon poison status on save
- Added additional fire sword hint
- Added controls screen to Inventory Menu
